Make New Connections While Supporting Foreign Affairs Education
The Council is an all-volunteer organization supported by its members and community partners. We’re always looking for extra hands, whether it’s helping with mentoring, helping with individual projects or events, or supporting our leadership team with program management. Volunteering for DPE-FAC provides a way to get to know other Delta Phi Epsilon alumni and students, grow the Council, and support foreign affairs education and outreach. Below are a few ways you can get involved today.
Volunteer Opportunities for Delta Phi Epsilon Alumni
As Delta Phi Epsilon’s alumni association, the Council offers a growing number of ways for alumni to support students in the Fraternity and Sorority. Here are four ways you can currently get involved:
Become a Mentor
Sign Up for the Speakers Bureau
The Council’s Speaker’s Bureau is a roster of Delta Phi Epsilon alumni who are available to speak at Delta Phi Epsilon chapters or at Council events. Alumni who register will be alerted to speaking opportunities fitting their interests as events are organized. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to share his or her experience with students or the general public, or to build credentials through speaking engagements.
Judge Our Scholarship Competition
However, none of this can happen without alumni volunteers to help review student papers submitted to the competition! Volunteering for this program provides an opportunity to help give Delta Phi Epsilon’s most promising undergraduate and graduate students a leg up.

Volunteer Opportunities for the Public
Members of the public without any prior Delta Phi Epsilon affiliation can also get involved in our work. The Council periodically posts short- and long-term volunteering opportunities on Idealist.org. These opportunities range from smaller service projects to opportunities to join our team and provide longer-term technical assistance.
